Back to school lunch

It’s back to school time!
I know I’m a few weeks late for this, but for mom’s who struggle with creating lunch ideas for their children, here’s a quick and easy idea:

1. Almonds
2. Grapes (seedless, of course)
3. Cheese

What would really complete this meal is sliced turkey on the side. However, my little man doesn’t eat a lot of meat so I left it out this time.  Also, for kids that are allergic to nuts, you can replace the almonds with seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, etc).
For mom’s who stay at home, lighten up and allow your daughter/son to eat in a fun place from time to time. I’m not sure who said there’s a rule kids can only eat at the table.  Make it fun and allow them to eat somewhere they desire (even if it’s not at the table).  Isaac LOVED eating in his car.

Allowing your child to eat in a fun place from time to time helps the child eat whatever is on the plate. So, for those that have picky eaters, try sitting them in a different setting, stick a few veggies on the plate, and let me know how it works for ya!
